Couple of questions:
- is the 750gb drive ssd as well?
- is the dvd/cd drive (that was removed) included?
- is the original box/packaging included?
The 750 GB drive is not an SSD. I am not including the DVD drive. An external one can be purchased for about $20 on Amazon. Most laptops don’t come with DVD drive anymore so I have missed it. I do not have the original packaging and box.
why selling?
I bought a new MacBook Pro. Also, I have rarely used it for a few years because I’ve used a more portable MacBook Air. Too many computers at home!
I thought this sold, what happened?
Someone tried to purchase it but their card was declined. A Swappa moderator reposted it.
I am interesting into 500$
No thanks. It’s upgraded and worth more.
Can you do it 550 ? I will buy tonight.
It’s worth $600. You’ll be happy :-)
I can't afford 600. I can do 550.
Hey! A few quick questions:
- Has the battery ever been replaced?
- When did you originally purchase/start using the machine? How intensively would you say you used the machine/for how long (e.g., "used for 3 years for most daily activities")?
- Have any parts other than the hard drive, optical drive, and RAM ever been serviced or replaced?
Also, if you don't mind me asking, what prompted you to upgrade to a new Macbook Pro instead of continuing to use this machine?
I have not relaxed the battery. I maxed out the ram, put in a Samsung SSD. Put in a 750gb hard drive in place of the DVDROM using a kit. Nothing else serviced or replaced. It’s worked flawlessly. Honestly I have used it once per month probably for PowerPoint over the last couple years. Prior to that it was used for PDFs or office documents less than 1 hour per day. I’ve used it very little really. I’ve had an iMac and MacBook Air that I use more. As a business expense I purchased a new MacBook Pro because it’s shiny, new, slim, lighter
