Can i buy a protection plan with this product?
I do not believe a 2013 laptop would be eligible for a protection plan but you can contact apple and ask them. They will be able to give you a better answer

I don't believe the year of the model is what matters, I believe there is a certain timeframe after the initial purchase date

If u go to hardware overview and select graphics, does it say anything about nvidia?
In the hardware > graphics/displays section it says Built-In Intel HD Graphics 4000, nothing about nvidia

Retina, 15", Early 2013. 2.4 GHz Intel Core i7. Quad core. Built-In Intel HD Graphics 4000. I don't believe you can find the Model Order Number on the computer itself, if you know how, let me know.
