Kindly note it is unlocked as default per all modern Verizon Wireless devices. You should be good as long as the network you are on supports the bands this model supports. :)
Yep generally all possibly except Sprint (and Sprint-based carriers) may give a bit of difficulty due to its proprietary CDMA network but otherwise you should be able to just throw in a SIM and be connected. You may have to adjust APN settings a bit to match your carrier so you can get data access (your carrier can definitely help with that) but other than that no issues.
I bought an S6 edge off eBay and it was unusable. During the initial setup, it asks you to sign into the Samsung account. When I tried to sign in, it told me I had to sign in with the last Samsung account user name and password that had been used on that phone. I could go no further. It turns out Samsung has a setup similar to iPhone. An iPhone is useless if the previous owner never doesn't sign out of icloud. The new Samsung phones are useless if the previous owner doesn't deactivate the reactivation lock in settings prior to resetting to factory setting. Luckily the guy refunded me when I returned it. Can you guarantee that I will be able to sign into the Samsung account with my user name and password on this phone during the setup process if I buy it?

Rest assured I specifically never wanted to activate the reactivation lock in the first place on the device for this reason so I made sure not to ever enable that option. I did sign into my Samsung account of course but never enabled reactivation lock on it. In case you do ever have an issue with that, not to worry, I will certainly refund you the cost if that is the case.
