S-OFF | ROOTED | HTC M8 5.1.1 | TGSP + OBOX CASE + DBRAND

The phone is S-OFF, and can be carrier unlocked for Verizon, Sprint or T-Mobile if you so desire; just flash the proper radios and HBOOT files.

No screen malfunctions whatsoever.

No camera tint.

Shielded with an IntelliArmor Tempered Glass Screen Protector since day one.

Wrapped in a DBrand Leather Skin.

Protected in an Otterbox Commuter case.

No lag or stuttering.

Fantastic wireless service reception of 3G, 4G (LTE) and Wifi (2.4 and 5.0 GHz).

Latest version of Lollipop (5.1.1)

Latest TWRP build (2.8.7.0)

I have used the 'tripndroid' kernel for as long as I can remember for fantastic battery life (4 hours SOT with BT enabled, 5 hours SOT without BT enabled) and great responsiveness.

Battery Health is good according to Ampere. Fast Charging is enabled at a maximum 1600 mA at 4.250 Volts.

Damage description

The device is in fantastic condition. All ports are functioning 100%. The rear of the phone has some light scratches from keys (which is why I put a DBrand on it) but other than that the phone has been absolutely fantastic. The rear cameras are both protected by a skin and have seen no damage or scratches whatsoever.

Listed as GOOD because of the scratches to the rear aluminum.

So I am not that familiar with rooting or rooted phones, you have this one rooted and it will work on Verizon? It would just take my SIM card and take off? Would you do a reset before sending it? With being rooted, what apps would be in it and does being that mean you get aps in the google play store and other locations? Also, just out of curiosity, what operating system are you using on the computer in your pics?

Hi Greg! I will do my best to answer these! Not sure if I can put links in here, but I'm running Windows 10 and using a program called RainMeter [https://www.rainmeter.net/]. It's like a custom desktop editor and the 'Operating System' I'm using is called NXT OS [http://nxtos.com/]. It's sort of like an iteration of Apple's OSX El Capitan. I would definitely recommend checking it out! This phone is rooted and bootloader unlocked, meaning you can flash custom ROMs on it found at XDA Developers [http://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-htc-one-m8]. I would wipe the phone clean but leave the ROM intact and as optimized as I have it now. You would still have to set up the phone as you would if you had bought it straight from HTC. Assuming you have a nano sim (if not, Verizon corporate locations provide them free of charge) you can just pop it in and you should be good to go. The Google play store functions as it normally would, with no modifications whatsoever.

Okay, 1 more question, speakers in good shape, sound just as as when new?

Thanks!!!

Speakers are in fantastic condition, I love them. I have installed Viper4Android, a systemwide sound equilizer, and everything sounds great! The highs, mids and lows are are top tier in my opinion. V4A works with headphones and Bluetooth as well so it's very customizable to pretty much anything you'd like.

Thanks Samuel, Im also running HTC One M8 with DU9.8 with Project Desire w JBL sound tweaks.
Headphone wise is awesome but phone speakers are bad, going to replace but want a backup in the meantime.
May I ask what phone you on or going with now?
Merry Christmas to you also!!!

I just got the 6P and wow, so far I am loving this thing. I'm running Chroma Rom on it with the ElementalX kernel currently and it's blazing fast. I decided to go for the 6P because I wanted a bigger screen, a lot of people say a 5 inch screen is the most ideal but honestly I just love a good phablet lol. Merry Christmas to you as well Johnny! I'm sending you an email now confirming your Paypal address :)
