Nexus 6 (Unlocked) 64 GB - Blue with Wood Skin Back, Multiple Cases
Unlocked Blue Nexus 6 (64GB). Listed as good condition due to minor scuff seen on speaker grill. Full disclosure of condition below. Includes 5 cases (spigen is in good condition, all others have been used and are subsequently in fair condition), screen protectors (one applied currently, 2 additional new), and a 6' micro usb cable.
Damage description
Only repair procedure completed while in my possession was the replacement of the bottom speaker grill. It broke through normal wear and tear (for a 2 y/o device) and functionally it is perfectly fine without it. Only thing is that it didn't look right so a replacement piece was installed. The scuff seen on the top speaker grill is cosmetic as well. Both speakers work extremely well (spigen case with kickstand makes for a nice portable speaker setup). Condition of the rest of the phone qualifies as flawless.

Pretty firm on pricing unless it's for good reason (local pickup, etc). Thanks for reaching out though
I have gotten 3 hrs SOT regularly so it seems to be in reasonable condition. I utilized root and xposed to manage wakelocks so I cannot speak for the stock numbers. The QC2.0 helps maintain the charge if you're in a rush though.
Thanks for your reply Matthew! How is standby time? Also does it include a QX2.0 charger?
Having wakelocks wrangled in with Greenify (and I was using Amplify back on MM; N support should be coming for xposed soon) the standby is excellent. I saw no more than the typical 2-3% per hour and that may have been due to bad LTE signal more than anything. As far as the QC2.0 charger, I can include an Anker single port wall charger with the 6' cable.
Thanks again for your reply! I know some unlocked Android phones you can disable LTE , are you able to on the Nexus 6? Awesome profile pic BTW!
In stock Android, there is an option under either LTE or SIM/Network Settings that let's you set your preferred network type. The options go through All (4G/3G/2G), 3G/2G only, and 2G only. You can also toggle data ON/OFF through the pulldown Quick Settings menu. If you have never used a Nexus or GPE device, the UX and UI is pretty similar to most other android phones in the US, but just more consistent compared to LG to Samsung. Also thanks for the compliment!
Is there any issues with the charging port, specifically the microUSB cable not staying in?
It is a fairly well documented issue that the Nexus 6 eats some micro USB cables like no other phone. The port itself doesn't receive any damage but the retention pins on cheaper micro cables wear down and lose their usefulness. The included cable is a new Ventev 6' A to C cable. The Ventev cables are a more resilient so I haven't noticed wear ("looseness") with them as compared to the no-name Chinese cables that usually come bundled with accessories.
That's the only. Thing a coworker warned me about was the charging port. Am I understanding you mean that the better cables are okay to use, but not the cheap Chinese/gas station cables, and you're good to go?

Here is some insight into what the community's experience is with the issue. I personally just followed the "don't cheap out on cables" advice and it seems to have held up quite well. This phone's port could also be less "hungry" in that it doesn't damage the cables as much as others so I never noticed it as a consistent issue. Some also suggest a wireless Qi charger (~$10 off Amazon) to avoid the unnecessary plug-and-unplug routine that wears out the pins
Thanks for the explanation Matthew! I am probably going to purchase this tonight or tomorrow if it's still available, but I have two questions:
1) You mentioned "aving wakelocks wrangled in with Greenify (and I was using Amplify back on MM; N support should be coming for xposed soon) the standby is excellent." Can you explain that?
2) Will you still be able to include the Anker QC2.0 charger?
I apologize for all of my questions, but I hope you understand. Thanks again!
No problem at all, being informed in part of being a satisfied buyer.
As far as the wakelocks, there are certain apps that will continue to run their service in the background even though you may have swiped the app out of the Recents menu or force closed it. This exists to allow the app to provide you prompt and immediate information through notifications or other means (think traffic updates, facebook notifications, etc.). The issue with this is that some apps abuse this system and keep the phone awake (not keeping the screen on but instead the CPU frequency is not properly settled down) way too long while idle, which results in battery drain.
Amplify (the app I used back on MM) allowed you to set how frequent these services can run. If you know you don't need immediate, down-to-the-second notifications, then you can make it so it only checks every 5 minutes, which means it will only run 12 times in a hour (a far cry from some instances where they get into the 120+/hour range)...
...The issue is that Amplify requires the implementation of Xposed Framework, which is a hooking system that allows greater control over the phone. Xposed is not currently available for Nougat (which is what this phone is running currently) so the options remain as
1.Downgrading to MM (easily down by flashing the factory image of MM from the Google dev site) or
2. Waiting it out until it is available.
I should mention that for 90% of user cases, wakelocks are not an issue. They also only affect idle battery drain. Doing things like using the Facebook mobile site instead of the official app can avoid the potential wakelocks without the need for all that technical workaround. Places like xda-developers.com can provide more information than I ever could so keep in mind there are always answers out there.
As far as the QC charger, I can include that as well with the cable.
Thank you again Matthew, and thank you for your quick replies! I will click "buy now" as soon as I post this.
