Other than for the purposes of unlocking , no l dont belive it has.

I am interested, but it is essential that I be able to root the phone, and at this time the newer versions cannot be rooted. Can you please go to the Settings / "About Phone" screen and tell me the last 4 digits of the Baseband version?

I don't mean the SKU. I need the software version, and can only be gotten by starting up the phone and looking at the "About Phone" screen. It should look like, "Baseband version: G900VVRU2BOG5"
