The device will come fully reset and iCloud-unlocked, and the entire shipment will be adequately protected with bubble wrap and love.
As far as I can tell, there are almost no imperfections with the device, save for very, very light hairline scratches on the screen from putting the iPad into and out of a silicone carrying case. They're almost entirely unnoticeable, and similar to the kind of wear it would endure under normal, gentle use. This iPad was used lightly for studying and media consumption, and lived in a case for the entirety of its lifetime.
