Recently Apple Refurbished 2012 MacBook Pro 15"
This is a fully functioning, recently Apple refurbished 2012 MacBook pro 15". The reason it was refurbished was because the screen randomly stopped working this October. Turns out, it needed a new motherboard. While replacing that, Apple also replaced the battery and cleaned the whole system. Otherwise, in terms of the OS, it has worked without a hitch since I originally bought it and also works even better since I got it back from Apple. I am only selling it because I recently upgraded to the new 2016 MacBook Pro.
The 2012 Macbook Pro is a beast in terms of speed, even for its age. It has a 2.3 GHz Intel Core i7 processor and 8 GB memory. It has a few scratches, see attached pictures, and has one small dent on the bottom of the lower left corner. The dent is not visible when the computer is standing upright so neither you nor anyone else will ever notice. This happened a long while ago when I banged my briefcase into a wall. There was no internal damage because this incident was way before the screen stopped working and also the whole system was Apple refurbished in October 30th 2016. Let me know if you have any questions.

Hello
Good morning
Did Apple repair it under warranty and any of that coverage still left ? Did they provide any new 1 yr warranty after the repair ?
Is this Model 9,1 that has 3.0 USB ports?
Thanks
Apple did not repair it under warranty because the computer was not under warranty. I paid out of pocket to repair it and Apple took the liberty to replace the battery on their own because it wasn't up to standard. While in there, Apple cleaned the whole system. They also provided a 90 day warranty for their repairs. No problems since. I have the Apple repair receipt if that helps. Also, I do not know the model number but I added a close up picture of the ports.
Ok thanks a lot for the information -they must have done the so called "depot repair " where they fix everything inside the MacBook for one price once they open the laptop for repairs-which I hear is an excellent deal/Service
Will buy for 850
Please include the Apple repair receipt so that I can use that to prove that it was repaired by apple in case of any future need to get it serviced
Thanks again
That is exactly what Apple did and they refurbished more than I expected. I added a photo of the original receipt and I will include the receipt Apple sent me when they returned my computer. It contains detailed information of what was done. I lowered the price to $850. Thanks.
