Honestly I don't think so. I have looked into some forums on Google that some people say the s8 does fit but it's too long to be a good fit. Others say it fits fine and works the same. So I'm not 100% sure.
Did it come with a type-c connector and mirco usb, or just a mirco usb one?
Sorry for not responding so much sooner the box doesn't say anything about being compatible with the s8 and as the box has never been opened I'm not sure which type of connection it comes with as the box doesn't specify.
