you could drop a bit to make the purchase, also could test the camera in low light and see if the problem has purple camera.

Its been dropped, and the entire time I was using it there was no purple camera issue, Ill double check to just to make sure but it was not present, I do remember reading about it back then after you mentioned it here though but it was never an issue with this phone.
