All rechargable battery's need to be replaced over time. The length of time the phone would remain on degraded overtime and had be recharged more often. Any used Phone that you buy will have a degraded battery life and will need to be replaced at some point. The Battery that I installed was larger than what Apple puts in their IPhone 5's.
The factory Apple battery standard for a Iphone 5 is a 1440 mAH. The in the phone that I am selling has a 2680mAh High Capacity Gold Replacement Li-ion Battery for iPhone 4 4S 5 5S 5C. I have 4 Iphone 5 phones that all have the 2680mAh High Capacity Gold Replacement. These are approved and available online for the Iphone 5.
