Motorola Droid 2 (Verizon/Page Plus) 3G Android Smartphone

There are some signs of use including scuffing on the bottom left corner of the bezel, as well as a few wear marks on the back of the phone. The screen appears flawless to the eye, if there are any scratches they are extremely faint and I can't make them out.

The phone is currently running a port of CyanogenMod 7.2, based on android Gingerbread, version 2.3.7. I found this ROM to run more smoothly than the stock ROM.

I am the original owner and used the phone for about a year on Verizon. After that it was used with the Page Plus service, which was nice because they did not require a data plan. The MEID/ESN is clean and it can be activated on either Verizon or Page Plus.

How is the battery? Is it removable? Also, can the device be reset back to stock?

The battery is the original. It holds enough charge to get my oldest through the day with light to moderate use. She would sometimes listen to music on her bus ride, and would do more texting than talking on it. It did need to be charged at the end of every day, though.

It could be flashed with the stock ROM, if that is what you would like. I personally found the stock ROM to be buggy, however. When I used the phone it had a bad habit of powering itself on while it was OFF. It did this once during a wedding, which was less than ideal. It also used to pocket dial more than the typical phone does. Since it has been flashed with Cyanogenmod these stopped being problems.

Also, the battery is removable. The droid 1 and droid 2 used the same battery, and they can be purchased inexpensively on Amazon and other sites.
