It will work on AT&T, however AT&T has its own special model of iPhone which supports its new LTE Band, Band 30, which is supposed to help in congested areas and lead to improved LTE speed down the road. If you do not live in an area where that band has been deployed you will notice no difference. I do not know if it has even been deployed or where and there seems to be no way to check, and I do not know where it will initially launch or how quickly it will spread. Depending on your area, you might not notice any potential difference for some time. Currently only AT&Ts own iPhones are built to support their upcoming network rollout.
