It was purchased new from Amazon, warranty has expired now.
Is the dent you mentioned by the power button or the volume rocker? I don't see anything by the power, only what times to be a big dent by volume button.
What seems to be, sorry. Do you mind taking a close up photo? What's battery life like (eg Accubattery)?
I've uploaded one new image with about the best view I can give. There's a little nick in the bezel between the volume and power. Near the volume down button is a little bend in the metal (the phone as a whole is not bent).
As far as battery life I haven't used an app like accubattery, but I would usually throw on the charger mid day if I got down to 40% or so. Battery life varies wildly from user to user even on the same device.
It would be reasonable to assume that there is some battery degredation considering the age of the phone.
I have not noticed any sudden drops to indicate a failing battery (such as an instant drop from 90% to 40%).
