Where was the phone purchased and does it have warranty?

Tim G. Seller
- Oct 14, 2017 - 09:08 PM

Phone had originally been purchased through Project Fi and is no longer in warranty as far as I know

- Oct 14, 2017 - 09:09 PM

So you don't have Nexus protect or fi protect?

Tim G. Seller
- Oct 14, 2017 - 09:10 PM

Not anymore, no. It hasn't been in use in almost a year

Oct 14, 2017 - 11:09 PM

Would you accept 200.00?

Tim G. Seller
- Oct 14, 2017 - 11:15 PM

I'm not going to go that much lower than $240

Oct 14, 2017 - 11:17 PM

Ok thank you

- Oct 15, 2017 - 05:33 AM

I'll do $225 right now!

Tim G. Seller
- Oct 15, 2017 - 07:11 AM

I'm in no rush to sell, and considering it's condition plus the accessories I think $240 is a perfectly reasonable price

- Oct 15, 2017 - 08:08 AM

would you be willing to trade?

Tim G. Seller
- Oct 15, 2017 - 10:10 AM

Trade? For what?

- Oct 15, 2017 - 10:12 AM

I have a kinda blue pixel XL 32 GB bought from the Google store used for less than a year...has a nick on the top left corner of the body, screen in perfect condition...was trying to get a 6p and 100$ for it

Tim G. Seller
- Oct 15, 2017 - 10:52 AM

Not really. Selling this + the tablet I've already sold is going to cover my Pixel 2 after I trade in my 1st gen

- Oct 15, 2017 - 10:53 AM

ahhh, got you. thanks anyways

Tim G. Seller
- Oct 15, 2017 - 10:53 AM

Maybe if it was a 6P +$50 I'd be interested

- Oct 15, 2017 - 05:12 PM

I'll do it for the 6p and 75$

Tim G. Seller
- Oct 15, 2017 - 09:19 PM

- Oct 15, 2017 - 09:25 PM

The second pic shows the little stuff on the body but that's the only thing...the tempered glass on it broke ( last time I go cheap on tempered glass) lol

Ooof, that chunk out of the top is going to be a dealbreaker for me. I'm OCD when it comes to my tech :( Sorry man, but best of luck to you

- Oct 15, 2017 - 09:52 PM

No man...thanks for considering it

- Oct 15, 2017 - 10:00 PM

Hey brandon P how much are you considering selling your pixel xl 32gb for just interested.

- Oct 15, 2017 - 10:01 PM

Enough for a Nexus 6p and 75-100$ left over

- Oct 15, 2017 - 10:03 PM

Just wondering if I don't have a nexus 6p, just straight up cash, lets say no fees nothing. How much would you be willing to sell it for.

- Oct 15, 2017 - 10:03 PM

350$

- Oct 15, 2017 - 10:05 PM

OK and how long have you used the phone for. Also you do know that you can get 400 dollars for trading the phone in to google for the pixel xl 2 discount as well as doing the t mobile promo of 325 back just saying.

- Oct 15, 2017 - 10:08 PM

Yes I do...but I have no interest in the pixel 2. It will be hard to develop for and the 6p has really strong development as far has custom ROMs...Google has really let me down as far as the pixel line is concerned...I have had the pixel XL for almost 1 year...got it in November of 2016

- Oct 15, 2017 - 10:12 PM

Just as a developer and a active all in one stock android guy. What do you think I should do in terms of my purchase. I know that the pixel just got magisk support and xposed on nougat roms and more roms have come out for it but do you think it will take another year for the same level of support that we get on the nexus 6p and OG pixels to reach the pixel 2 xl. I went to the verizon store and left really mixed as to weather I should buy it, I didn't like the big bezels as well as the metal they choose. It feels cheap and is too big for even my hands and thats without a case. Im really considering in buying an OG pixel cheap. Currently have a OP2 that well has good development support or better than other devices.

Hey Brandon, if you were to get your hands on a Pixel 2, I'd be willing to trade the 6P to you for that + the difference after I flip my 1st gen Pixel/were willing to go through that much trouble lol

Tim G. Seller
- Oct 15, 2017 - 10:13 PM

The difference on my end I mean haha

- Oct 15, 2017 - 10:18 PM

I personally wouldn't get the pixel 2 due to how locked down I feel it's going to be. No rom Dev can get a good booting version of Oreo on the pixel XL (as far as I know). I test for team Oct OS and we just keep getting force closes and volume problems due to the proprietary files. That's why I'm trying to go back to the Nexus 6p. Easy and plentiful development! It will take some time to get the pixel up and running due to the a/b partitions and what Google gives us as far as source code

- Oct 15, 2017 - 10:21 PM

Ah. I'm not too big on development, my main want is that camera plus waterproofing, front facing speakers and 3 years of software updates

- Oct 15, 2017 - 10:24 PM

Don't blame you at all man...I'm a crack flasher and I love you have my phone able to flash. The pixel XL has great nougat support but nougat is done...it's Oreo time and there are 4 teams working on Oreo for the pixel XL and no one has things working right...it's supposed to be a developer friendly phone and that's not what it is...it's an Android iPhone (in my eyes).

- Oct 15, 2017 - 10:28 PM

So if there is no phone that is for development like the nexus line was. Oh i loved my nexus 4. Than what are all the devleopers going to. I also understand its oreo time but as you may know my OP2 never got nougat so, technically for me im excited for nougat. And it sucks google did that to so many people. Also brandon i don't think youll find the nexus 6p fun to use, maybe for development only. The thing is, that processor sucks and the battery life/bootloop issue is common. If it hasn't happened to most phones now, just wait till next year.

- Oct 15, 2017 - 10:31 PM

I used to have the 6p. It was a great phone! Nougat gave it great battery life. I had 6 hours screen on time running pure Nexus rom and kylo kernel! I know the CPU in it is nothing compared to the pixel XL but hey, it's still a great phone

- Oct 15, 2017 - 10:34 PM

What battery life sot do you get on the pixel xl. Also have you ever tried the paranoid android rom on the pixel.

- Oct 15, 2017 - 10:35 PM

I get about 6 plus hours sot with my XL and aospa is still in it's infancy with the xl

- Oct 15, 2017 - 10:43 PM

Got it, have you ever used magisk xposed with the phone and has the battery gotten worse after installing xposed.

- Oct 15, 2017 - 10:44 PM

Not using Xposed, but magisk works perfectly since the 14.3 update...don't lose root or anything

- Oct 15, 2017 - 10:49 PM

Would you loose root before this update, I still can't believe it took this long for magisk to be on the pixel.

- Oct 15, 2017 - 10:50 PM

Everytime I would update adaway with newer host file I would lose root and have to reflash magisk 14.2
