Hello, how many battery cycles and is there a secondary graphics card? Thanks.
Steven - yes, as it notes in the description, it has 79 cycles and has the dedicated graphics m370x card
Does this unit have the force touch trackpad? (In 2015 some did and some did not)
It sounds like you are original owner, is that correct? The AppleCare is supposed to go with the machine but sometimes Apple resists that, are you willing to work with me if I purchase and run into problems?
@Walter, yes this does have the force track pad on this unit. And yes the Applecare goes with the machine. I haven't had any issues when selling/buying other Apple devices. Once I've received an item, I usually go into an apple store and they transfer ownership on the spot. It's mostly because they don't want to transfer it if it's not in your possession (claiming it's yours and then try to pick up a device another time when it's not your item), and have an issue with claiming the device after warranty work. Worst case, yes I can work with you, but like I mention, it's easily swap-able if you go into the store with the device.
I like your computer, but am having trouble deciding between it and almost the same offering from a large reseller, but one with a 100% rating. I really always prefer to purchase from an original owner, but they are about 5% lower in price. I would like to make the following proposal: That I purchase the unit at the stated price of $2300 and that afterwards you credit me back to PayPal for the $100 difference. The credit would not have to be immediate, but should be before I give my rating. I really like your computer, but by nature, I am a basic skinflint
@Walter, sorry. Based on the specs and the date of the Applecare is extended to, I will not be lowering the price any further than what it is currently. Thanks
Nathan, I finally made my decision to purchase the other unit, with the AppleCare being 4 months longer than yours and with Microsoft Office and a few graphic editing programs included, my penny pinching took over> Sorry
Walter, thank you for the update. Congrats on the sale. My only suggestion to you is to verify that the seller will be sending you the serial/subscription info for the software to make sure you have legitimate software. What I have seen lately is people installing pirated software to "up the value" of a machine and make more money out of it but unable to provide legitimate purchase info (i.e. Cracked versions of MS Office, Logic Pro, Adobe Master Collection, etc.) Anyways, enjoy your new machine!
Hi Nathan, does this package come with the external CD drive and thunderbolt adapters, ie vga, ethernet, etc?
@Jeoffrey, no. There were no additional accessories included in this sale
I've never purchased on this platform before. How soon would you be willing to make the shipment?
The description says this includes the M370x graphics, yet the 'about this mac' screen shot does not show this GPU. What am I missing here? My current Mac shows both the Intel Iris Pro and a NVIDIA GeForce GPU.
Jeoffrey- it can be shipped within the next business day, so by tomorrow afternoon.
Mark - this could be due to one of several reasons: 1) when the laptops on newer models are only using the intel graphics to push images, it doesn't list. 2) when connected to an external monitor, it will display both cards as the display adapter switching occurs more frequently. I am not in front of the computer but I can take a screenshot of what I am talking about later for you and post it.
Please do. I'm only familiar with two of these (one being an early 2013) but both of them show both GPUs when running only the local screen.
Mark - please see the latest screenshot I have attached. Note the Graphics card both to the right within the Graphics/Displays options, as well as to the main overview, which displays both the intel graphics and AMD. Also, as mentioned, on the left, under the AMD Radeon, you can see that the Thunderbolt Display is utilizing this card, instead of the Intel Iris Pro (I have attached 2 screenshots, one selecting the Intel Card, and one selecting the AMD card).
hmmm ... guess all I had to do was to show an interest in this to cause it to sell. Oh well, thanks for the info on the graphics.
