No, it works perfectly. I was on 6.0.1 when i wiped the phone. I don't think that the N5 has 7.0 yet.

Don't need it anymore. I just bought a Moto Z Force Droid.

Also, i've had it for about two and a half years. Always in a case, never dropped. It looks and runs like it just came out of the box.
