Rare Blue Note8 / All accessories + Box / 2 Spigen cases + holster / !rootable! ;)

It was not an easy decision to sell this phone. Unfortunately, there are a few features inherent to Samsung devices that do not play well with my accessories and networking at home and work. In other words... this is a great phone, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with it. It just wasn't right for me. (I'm using an LG V30, for comparison sake)

All of the original accessories and box are included (as pictured) and still unopened.

Additionally, I will include:
1 Spigen ToughArmor case (blue)
1 Spigen HybridArmor case (blue)
1 holster that is made to fit the ToughArmor case perfectly, but will accommodate the HybridArmor with a little effort.
1 film-style screen protector (preinstalled)

There are no blemishes on the phone. The screen is in mint condition under the screen protector. The ToughArmor case and holster look great, but may show small indications of the 1 month or so that I used them. I never even got a chance to use the HybridArmor case because I liked the ToughArmor so much.

Please ask any questions you may have. Thank you for visiting!

*** I have digitally removed the IMEI from the photo of the back of the phone.

Swappa... Please help. I filled out the fields and wrote out a detailed description earlier today, and upon uploading pictures of the phone, my description and most of the fields are now blank. Can you restore them? Thanks!

$670! Mint(s) just sold for between $515-$535, price is 'way high, more like "New Resale." I have my own cases though yours are nice. Also when your description says "None" I have to wonder how you would describe your own posting: when/where bought, warranty left, etc. etc.. My offer would be $525, not crazy about blue. Thanks for your consideration.

Hope Swappa helps you with description (I think you just missed the fields for that) and photos. Best.

Hi, Jake. Thank you for taking a look at the listing. I had a detailed description written out before uploading the pictures... and it seems to have disappeared. If Swappa can't restore it, I'll rewrite it tomorrow.

Thank you for the offer, but since it's only been approved for 20min, I will respectfully decline. I priced the phone $50 less than the only other Blue Note8 on Swappa, which also happens to be in Mint condition. If you're not crazy about blue, then this one isn't for you. As you can tell from the accessories I bought for the phone, I'm crazy about blue. lol.

Also... the phone is on U3 firmware, which is rootable. This is a highly desirable quality to enthusiasts "in the know" so I'm comfortable with the price where I started it. Thanks again for looking. --Ryan

I wouldn't be interested in a phone where the firmware has been adjusted, i.e. rootable, since I don't go with rootable devices, stock's good enough for me. Thanks for letting me and us know. Someone may interested in a firmware change. Best of luck in selling this device.

I appreciate your input, Jake. Truly, I do. However, I feel I have to respond, since this is a comment on my sale thread, and I don't want to be the kind of seller that leaves comments unanswered. ;) (Further explanation in next comment due to character limit)

The rare blue color (you don't like blue) and the rootable firmware (you don't root) both carry a premium, and you are looking for the cheapest mint condition Note8 on Swappa. Again, I'm hearing that this phone isn't for you. Maybe the owner of ETJ164 will accept your $525 offer for their Black Note8 in Mint condition. In a way, I'm jealous that you're not hindered by the same needs that I have. I wish you the best of luck in finding your next device.

There is a culture of phone and tech enthusiasts that remain steadfast to the Android platform because of the open architecture and ability to "tinker" a little. Unfortunately, that openness has been closing recently (that's another conversation), making rootable and bootloader-unlockable devices harder to come by. I'm a part of the tech community, and I'm not afraid to modify my electronics to make them mine in ways that the manufacturer never intended.... but I know it's not for everyone. I can tell that you are not among this crowd, judging by the fact that you equate a rootable device to being "not stock." I registered my V30 on the LG Developer site and unlocked the bootloader with LG's blessing. The hardware and OS is still stock, I just have root access. I did install a custom recovery, and I could install an AOSP-based ROM, however. It's my option now, and I enjoy the flexibility.

Now we can get back to comments specifically related to the sale of my device. Thanks!
