I did honor it, and someone else bought it. $230 for a Mini 4 is an awesome deal. $230 for a Mini 4 WITH a year+ of Applecare+ is a CRAZY deal.
Just sold one for $268 a couple hours ago, so not super motivated to lower it.
And yes, Applecare will transfer.
