In very nice condition, has a mod to watch band to make it larger, can easily be removed if not needed nothing hurt on original band just a piece added for length see pics, also this can run a full version of android, it is running Tizen right now, I did root it in the past, but isn't rooted right now. comes with a after market charger port is microusb, device its self is near mint.

Hey, @Jessica M you know these only work on Samsung devices don't you, Also this is a 1st model, I'd think the gear s2 would be a better fit for you and probably a android wear device would probably be the best fit, IMO because with android wear devices you not only get notification but can reply several different ways to most of them.. I generally reply with Voice myself. but to be clear the Galaxy Gear (this one) the gear 2 and the Gear S only work with Samsung devices while the gear S2 and S3 work with most android devices running android 4.4 and up.
If you new to smartwatches I would go with android wear just because how you can interact and respond to many different apps, Like Google hangouts, SMS messages, facebook messages, and others android wear 2.0 has a full keyboard for responses and emoji in addition to predefined and voice, the LG style (looks nice on smaller wrists) would be a nice lady's watch, can't remember if it has a speaker or not but I think it does.
Not sure but I wouldn't know why it would be. I am Pretty sure it works on all Samsung phones running 4.4 and above, I don't have a s8 to test it with.
I should prof read, I don't know why it wouldn't work.. never tested past my note 4 with 6.1 tho.

That is true, I can't confirm, maybe youtube or google can, I do know all the galaxy gears until the S2 model worked only on Samsung devices, I have a gear S that I am still trying to get Samsung to update to work with other android and with android wear or full blown Android 6.1.. there are some custom variants of both in the XDA community. This model can run a full custom version of android, several roms available, the big hit tho is to battry life.
