Microsoft Surface Book 13.5" Core i7 8GB 256GB SSD NVIDIA GPU+ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE WARRANTY

I have a nearly-new Surface Book that is in fantastic condition! It comes with this AWESOME thursday-throwback skin that is fully removable, but has protected this SB for the past few months from any cosmetic surface scratches.

Unlike other sellers, I have the Microsoft Complete on this unit, which includes Accidental Damage coverage - protecting against drops, spills, etc with no questions asked! It is covered until 1/15/2018, and is only a $49 deductible if you break the device - no questions asked! This has a MS store value of $249!

I will also throw in the Surface Pen Kit, which changes the Surface Book Pen tips to a wide range of options!

This is the unit with the dedicated NVIDIA Graphics in the base, as well as the upgraded i7 processor! If you have any other questions, please let me know!

The unit has never been dropped or dented, all corners fully intact. Any minor blemishes from being in a carrying case are almost non-existent, plus, you can get a new one at any time with the $49 deductible, Accidental Damage Warranty (You get two claims)!

Shipping is fast, and to the Continental US only via the confirmed address on your PayPal account!

If you would be willing to drop the price to $1600 I would buy this right now

I sincerely appreciate the offer Mohammad. As you can see, the listing just went up - so I'm not ready to start cutting the price just yet. I carefully examined the other listings, and what was included in order to price mine fair, but competitively.

I think you'll find that with the Accidental coverage added on, this is a pretty good deal, considering you can take this one, and for $50, literally turn around and get a replacement. That's a pretty good deal!

Great question Don, and my apologies for taking this long to find a definitive answer! This Surface Book has Intel's 6th-gen Skylake processor.

"Specifically, the high-end “clipboard” tablet portion of the Surface Book uses a dual-core Intel Core i7-6600U chip with Intel’s HD Graphics 520 integrated GPU inside, Microsoft confirmed. "

In the base/keyboard, it has a separate Nvidia dedicated graphics card for enhanced graphical capabilities. The chipset is a custom Nvidia chip, known as the 134B, and is considered equivalent to the Nvidia 940M GPU.

I'm going to try and confirm with Microsoft that there warranty is transferable. Might want to do this by email, I'm at they don't want me to share my email

Is this 1st gen or the second gen surface book

Austin R. Seller
- Dec 16, 2016 - 07:31 AM

This is a 1st gen. Although not much has changed. Likewise, I can't post links, but if you google search "Is microsoft warranty transferable", the second link is from microsoft, and an employee responds:

"That is a great question! If someone has an Extended Warranty and transfers ownership of their Surface to another person, the Extended Warranty follows the device, not the person."

Hope this helps! Thanks for the question!

Microsoft is selling this same device for $1700 brand new right now, even though you have accidental protection coverage I still feel more comfortable paying that $100 extra unless you would be willing to negotiate lower for your price?

Hi Chris,

I haven't checked the price on the current units, but if that's the case, you'd be better off buying my unit - 2 reasons, 1) Tax Free, 2) You could instantly turn around and break my unit and only pay the $50 deductible, getting a brand new one as a result, and STILL have 1 more accidental coverage for future use. You'd actually save more than $50 for a brand new one from me!

Will you take 1100?

No.

- Dec 24, 2016 - 10:18 AM

Would you do $1300?

Austin R. Seller
- Dec 24, 2016 - 11:04 AM

Good morning Ben.

Unfortunately I would just keep the surface for anything less than 1599. Especially since I can break it and get a brand new one...

Just a note - I will be out of town through the 29th. If anyone purchases between now and then, the device listed will not ship out until the 29th.

Any chance you'd sell it for $1500? Got PayPal ready today if so.

$1450 Paypal now?
