Since I bought it from the original owner, it has always been kept in the smartcase that's included. I'll be honest, a couple of times it got bumped on the top outer edges, so there are a few scuff marks but you can barely see them and it hasn't affected the devices performance at all! There are little to no marks on the screen.
All in all it's a beautiful and fast device.
