Hi Tina! I actually had it replaced at an Apple Store in October. It's basically new, no issues with battery life.
Hi Dexter - I am not exactly sure about the discrete graphics. I do know I be been doing a lot of 4K video editing and after effects rendering, without a problem. Is there somthing I can look up specifically for you?
Im asking does it have discrete or not. You know 750m?? Go on system prefrences and power options. If you have the option for automatic graphics switching then you have a discrete gpu if not then you dont. I cant believe you kinda bought it without knowing if it has discrete graphics or not..it makes a huge difference in performance and the value of the laptop.
However - I haven't experienced any performance issues. Likely because of the SSD. Runs like a champ.
There are no screenshots. It's impossible to not have power options. It's on the second row on preferences.
Okay then It just had interested iris pro. Thanks for finding that out for me. I may still be interested. I will get back with you. You're a great seller.
Hey everyone, interested! The price has been lowered. Unfortunately I am not willing to let it go for any less. It's starting to get into the "why would I sell it" range :-)
The price will go back up on Monday night.
Have a great weekend!
I'll do $815. I am already way lower than I'd like to go with this.
Hey, Grant H. the price has been adjusted to $800, if you're still intrested.
Hey Nick sorry my last notification showed that you left the price at $815. Sorry I didn't see you moved it to $800 but I bought another MacBook pro off of eBay this afternoon. Sorry :/
Hey Slashin100 - I had the battery replaced at an Apple Store in October :-)
Sorry Dexter, after shipping and swappa and fees $750 is to low for me. $800 is already really low for a great computer.
Alright thats true and fair enough. Ill try to make the other $50 because I think i prefer the 2013 over my 2012. I dont need the GPU in mine.
Thanks Nick I read that info on top, but still wanted to find out the exact number of cycle count.. hope you can do it.. Thanks.
Great-
Hold the Option key and click the Apple menu. Choose System Information.
Under the Hardware section of the System Information window, select Power. The current cycle count is listed under the Battery Information section.
It's says 523, however I am not sure if it resets with a new battery.
Cheers -
Hi Nick,
This is what I got from Apple official site and you can do your own research.
Also, other people mentioned that the cycle count info may store inside battery.
Is it possible Apple replace a refurbish battery with your original one ? What was the reason they replace a "new" one for you ?
Jan 6, 2016 - Did the cycle count reset to zero when the battery was replaces a few ... If you install a new battery, the cycle count will start from the beginning. ... or 0 cycles. pple no longer carries the batteries but you can get a good one at ... More ways to shop: Visit an Apple Store, call 1-800-MY-APPLE, or find a reseller.
Thanks for the research. Honestly I dont really know. I was experiencing some quick battery depletion issues, when I took it to apple, Apple care took care of it and I haven't experienced any issues since. :-)
Southfield isn't too far from me, however I would need to know a time. I have a lot of meetings in the A2 area. Novi may be a better option if it's convenient for you.
Also if we can arrange an in person pick up I'd be happy to take a little off the price for shipping .
If you'd like to purchase with a pick up, please pay $800 via swappa, and I'll bring $15 cash that would have went to shipping the item. That way if something happens and we can't meet or if someone else purchases the item with the price is lower I won't lose out on shipping. :-)
