Selling a 2015 Macbook pro

The Macbook has been taken good care of. I used it at school. most of the time covered with a case, so the condition is very good. There is a cover on the screen as well as on the keyboard side. you can peel it off as you wish. there is no dent. There is some sign of usage.

The original price is 2200 when i bought it. It is the highest configuration for Macbook pro 13 at that time, the cpu is 3.1 GHz, ram 16gb, and there is a 512 SSD.

There is tiny flaw near the charger as can seen in the picture , other than that it is perfectly fine.

p,s. lost the original charger, comes with a replacement, which costs 30 bucks or so, which works great and it is included in the price.

Chang, please research the price on Swappa on 2015 13" MBP's. Look at previously sold listings for your configuration. I’ve been watching these for a good while, and I can tell you that even with 512GB, 16GB of RAM and a 3.1 i7, your price is not justified (especially with that corner dent, and expired Apple Care). I don't know how many things you've sold, but whenever you do, I understand the temptation of mentioning the original price, especially if you have been taking very good care of it, to help lessen the loss of value. Believe me, your item looks excellent; I take excellent care of my electronics as well (100% in case, monthly screen wipes, dust-offs, etc). Do your research and consider adjusting the price.

hi, thanks for your interest. i am about to lower the price if someone is interest

- Aug 06, 2017 - 12:29 PM

I've been watching these, because I am interested, but not for this price. Take a look at the others in better condition (apple care, no dents, etc) - those are between $1000 and $1200.

When you look at the list of models for sale, on the sidebar you can see the "recently sold" prices. Look at the blue line, which indicates your configuration - 512 GB. Though it's limited to the storage space, it gives you a general idea of what to expect to get.

there is one with i5 and 512 ssd, and there is another one with i5 and 256 ssd, that are around 1200. the price of a i7 with 3.1GHz is way higher when buying. i can lower little bit but not much

Don't look at what's for sale; look at what was sold. Again, for 13" MBP, a 512 GB model averages around $1200 mark. I understand that Swappa does not let users see the actual records of what's been sold, which is a bummer, but I was watching one, with the subject line of something resembling 13" 2.9GHz, 16GB Ram, 512GB SSD, great condition, original box, and that one sold for $1200 on the dot. Now, I understand that it was 2.9 Ghz, but that one was in mint condition. And no, the price for 3.1 Ghz isn't that much higher.

I just did a price comp on eBay and $1535 seems to be a bit pricey, but it’s his device and he can price it however he wants. No need to debate him on it. And Enes K, you are funny ????

Would you mind posting some more pics of the screen? Are there any air bubbles? Thanks

sure. I will upload some pic today. There are bubbles since i put by myself. You can peel it off. And there is sign of usage of the screen i have to say.

* I mean there is no scratch but there is sign.

This is priced too high for a computer that has been dropped. I offer $800. There are flawless listings on eBay for less.

What exactly is wrong with the charging port?
Any other signs of use beside the charging port?
