Acer C720 with SSD upgraded to 128GB

I've recently purchased my second chromebook. This was my first. Amazing little machines for the money. Killer battery life.

I upgraded the SSD in this one to 128GB and it works flawlessly. While this particular model doesn't have the Android app offering, with the extra SSD space you can certainly (and I have) effectively run Linux. I used KDE desktop, but there are options out there. Doing so takes this device from just another ChromeBook to full functioned laptop that can run two OSs simultaneously.

I will include documentation on how to set it up to do so in the packaging. It requires less than an hour really after you've downloaded Linux and all. I'll also include the original 16GB SSD in case you want it.

Other than that, I'd say it's not the best built laptop I've had. Most ChromeBooks are not. It does, however, serve a great purpose and will do the job. You can also add on a high speed SD Card and/or a USB external drive.
