Is this phone locked to T-Mobile's network? Or could I put in a simcard from another GSM carrier and have it work?
Timothy: this unit is a SGH-T889 which was manufactured by Samsung to be best of my knowledge specifically for use on the T-Mobile network. That said there are outfits that will "unlock" phones to allow them to work on other GSM networks - EG see http://www.cellunlocker.net/unlock-samsung-galaxy-note-2-ii.php Hope this helps.
