> The iPhone 6S Plus was released in September 2015 as part of the ninth-generation of the iPhone. The iPhone 6S Plus featured an aluminum exterior design and kept the unofficial phablet branding due to the larger 5.5-inch display. The 6S Plus featured the Apple A9 chip along with an 8MP front-facing camera and 12MP rear-facing camera with an optical image stabilizer, continuos autofocus, a sapphire crystal lens cover, and capability of recording 4K video. The iPhone 6S Plus was also the last generation of the iPhone to include the 3.5mm headphone jack.
