Why can't pre-2011 MacBooks be sold on Swappa?

Please refer to our updated FAQ page here for the latest info regarding this topic.

Due to the increased possibility of device issues with older laptops, we currently do not allow any MacBooks built before 2011 to be listed here on Swappa. This decision was made to help ensure that all devices listed on Swappa meet our listing criteria.
