As we continue to grow and expand our program, we have decided to <\/span><b>change our affiliate commissions to 50% of the Swappa fee<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. That\u2019s right! Swappa is now giving you half of our entire sales fee for all your conversions. And now that <a href=\"\/fees\">Swappa fees<\/a> have been <a href=\"https:\/\/swappa.com\/blog\/swappa-fees\/\">updated to 3% per party<\/a>, that means you get 3% of the total item cost for every conversion.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We\u2019re making this update for a few reasons. In our old program, our commission included five types of payouts, and it wasn\u2019t always easy to follow. Our new payout system provides increased payouts, and is hopefully clearer too. Additionally, as more affiliates join the program, we want to help them have the most success and increasing potential commissions is one way to do that.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Recently, we added several new categories to the Swappa marketplace: <a href=\"https:\/\/swappa.com\/computers\/graphics-card\">graphics cards<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/swappa.com\/computers\">computers<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/swappa.com\/cameras\">cameras<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/swappa.com\/home-tech\">home tech<\/a>. We are excited to include these new categories in the affiliate program, especially since graphics cards provide some of the highest payouts. (Protection plans and accessories are not included in the program.)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We have more good news &#8211; this update doesn\u2019t require our affiliates to make any changes. Your referral link will still be the same, and you\u2019ll still get paid on the same schedule. These changes are reflected on our <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/swappa.com\/affiliate\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Swappa Affiliate page<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For people new to the program, or who are interested in signing up, here is more information to help you get started. <\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>How the affiliate program works<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Getting up and running with the affiliate program is quick and easy. <\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To sign up, go to the <a href=\"https:\/\/swappa.com\/affiliate\">Swappa Affiliate page<\/a> and enter your information.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We manually approve every application, so make sure to include as much info as possible about your company and website so we can get a good idea of how you will be promoting Swappa.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once approved, you will be assign an affiliate link that looks something like this:\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">https:\/\/swappa.com\/?ref=your_affiliate_id<\/span><\/li>\n<li>You use your link to send your referrals to any page on Swappa just make sure you append your affiliate ID to the end of the URL (?=ref) so you can get the credit you deserve.<\/li>\n<li>If a user clicks on your link, you will get credit for a sale if they make a purchase within 30 days. The widget allows you to display real-time pricing for popular devices from Swappa.
