The Battery Health screen in your iPhone has information on the maximum battery capacity and peak performance capability.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The battery health percentage starts at 100% when the iPhone is brand new. Some of the other messages you\u2019ll see in the Battery Health &amp; Charging screen on your iPhone are in the Peak Performance Capability section and include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Performance Is Normal:<\/strong> Shown when your iPhone&#8217;s battery supports normal peak performance.<\/li><li><strong>Performance Management Applied: <\/strong>Shown when your iPhone experienced an unexpected shutdown because the battery was not able to deliver the needed peak performance.<\/li><li><strong>Battery Health Unknown:<\/strong> Shown when the iPhone cannot determine the battery health.<\/li><li><strong>Performance Management Turned Off: <\/strong>Similar to the Performance Management Applied message, however, this message appears when you manually disabled the performance management protections.<\/li><li><strong>Battery Health Degraded: <\/strong>This message is shown when the Battery Health percentage drops below 80% \u2013 this is the point when Apple states the battery\u2019s health is significantly degraded and recommends you replace the battery.<\/li><li><strong>Important Battery Message:<\/strong> Shown when Apple is unable to verify if the iPhone has a genuine Apple battery.
