We\u2019ve reached the beginning of another month, which means we can take a few minutes to check out the top ten selling used phones<\/a> for the previous month, April 2021. As we often see, the list is dominated by the Apple iPhone with just one Android smartphone making the list.<\/p>\n

Top selling used phones from April 2021<\/h2>\n

The one Android smartphone was the Samsung Galaxy S9<\/a>, which slipped from eighth place in March to ninth place in April. Otherwise, there was quite a bit of similarity. The top three phones remained the same overall, but they did shift places a little. In March, the top three order was<\/a> the iPhone 8, iPhone Xr, and the iPhone X. In April, the top three order was the iPhone Xr, iPhone 8, and the iPhone X.<\/p>\n\n\n

The iPhone 7 and the iPhone 8 have remained on the list, and some newer models such as the iPhone Xr, iPhone XS, the iPhone 11, and the iPhone 11 Pro also seem to be getting some staying power. The 2nd generation iPhone SE also gained a bit of popularity going from seventh in March to fourth in April.<\/p>\n

This time around we\u2019re seeing an increase in the average selling price for several phones. For example, the iPhone 8 went from $183 in March to $190 in April, and the iPhone X went from $306 in March to $315 in April.<\/p>\n

Of course, the more typical pattern, which is the average selling price dropping slightly from month to month still applies. The iPhone Xr went from $341 in March to $335 in April, and the iPhone 11 Pro went from $655 in March to $643 in April. Essentially, this is to say that right now is always going to be the best time to sell<\/a><\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n
