iPhone 11 Pro: A2160 vs A2215 vs A2217<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

There are three basic iPhone 11 Pro models: A2160, A2215, and A2217. Each version offers the same great features and specifications, but they vary in terms of cellular connectivity due to regional differences in network bands and frequencies. All three models support Dual SIM functionality. The A2160 and A2215 have one physical SIM card slot and one eSIM. In contrast, the A2217 has two physical SIM card slots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The iPhone 11 Pro A2160 is the North American variant; the A2215 is the International or Global Version; and the A2217 was sold exclusively in Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macao. For the purposes of this comparison, we\u2019ll stick to the A2160 and A2215.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

iPhone Model A2160<\/a> is the North American version of the iPhone 11 Pro. Being the only variant that was ever sold by Apple Stores and wireless carriers in the US and Canada, it is the only unlocked most common version you\u2019ll find on Swappa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you\u2019re primarily looking to use your iPhone 11 Pro in North America, the A2160 is what you want. It fully supports all network bands and frequencies currently in use by North American LTE, GSM, and CDMA networks such as Verizon, T-Mobile, and AT&T. This means it\u2019s also compatible with prepaid MVNO carriers such as Mint Mobile, Straight Talk, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

iPhone 11 Pro Model A2215<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

iPhone Model A2215<\/a> is the International or Global Version of the iPhone 11 Pro. Primarily sold in European and Asian markets, this version is compatible with the majority of 4G LTE and 2G\/3G GSM networks worldwide. However, it doesn\u2019t support Verizon\u2019s legacy 2G\/3G CDMA network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The A2215 is compatible with the majority of the baT-Mobile and AT&T. But due to its lack of CDMA support, the A2215 is only partially compatible with Verizon. This isn\u2019t a huge issue, since Verizon is in the process of retiring its legacy CDMA network in favor of nationwide 4G LTE and its new 5G network. However, this does mean that the A2215 may not always get the best reception on Verizon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
