This is a growth opportunity for the right individual as we begin to expand our direct selling efforts.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This position requires a strong enthusiasm for mobile devices and good working knowledge of modern smartphones, particularly iPhone models. This knowledge will be put to use by inspecting devices from our vendors to determine any cosmetic irregularities and using our testing systems to ensure only devices that meet our high standards are sold.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Position: <b>iPhone Technician and Shipping Coordinator<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We\u2019re looking for a 12:00 PM \u2013 4:00 PM shift at our downtown KC location.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>The Work<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>The primary functions include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The primary functions include:<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Receiving and testing each new device that Swappa purchases utilizing phone testing software (training will be provided)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Accurately identifying and logging items that do not meet Swappa standards for sale<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Device labeling and organization<a href=\"http:\/\/swappa.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/swappa_fam.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1355 alignright img-responsive\" src=\"http:\/\/swappa.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/swappa_fam-300x240.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"240\" \/><\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Printing shipping labels and packing orders for shipping<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Communicating with other Swappa employees regarding order questions as they arise<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Periodic customer communication via our email-based support system<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Monitoring device inventory and shipping supply quantities<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>Requirements and preferences:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Strong attention to detail and willingness to complete repetitive tasks<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Previous repair or carrier store experience is a plus but not required<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Patient and friendly with a sense of humor<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Good communication skills, including spelling and written English<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Strong understanding of cell phone carriers and technology, including Apple and Android devices<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reliable transportation for package drop off with mileage allowance<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You must be 21 years or older to apply<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>Physical Demands<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While performing the duties of this job, the employee is generally required to sit for extended lengths of time in a workspace. This employee may also be required to lift up to 25 lbs. of inventory.
