This is a part-time, work-from-wherever job with modest pay. This is good supplemental work or an excellent opportunity for a college student, for instance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Position<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The primary goal of a Swappa Moderator is to help keep Swappa a safe and easy place to buy and sell gently used devices. Our moderators provide help and guidance to buyers and sellers, prevent potential scammers, and in general, make Swappa a better place to buy and sell. This is accomplished by monitoring and reviewing listings and comments, and responding to them in a timely and helpful manner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Hours<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We&#8217;re looking to fill the following time slots (all times in central standard):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Friday 1p-7p<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Saturday 1p-7p<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sunday 7p-Midnight<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monday 7p-Midnight<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Work<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Requirements and preferences:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Willing to work the schedule as outlined above<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reliability is essential<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Patient and friendly, with good written communication skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prior customer service or moderation experience, or community\/forum involvement preferred<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Basic understanding of cell phones, wireless carriers, and other technology<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You must be 18 years or older to apply<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Note: Swappa runs 24 \/ 7 \/ 365 &#8212; and so does our moderation team. This means we work on holidays.
