Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Sales Halted



UPDATE 5: The CPSC has officially announced the recall of all Samsung Galaxy Note 7 devices. This includes both the original and new replacements.

We are still urging sellers to continue and work with buyers to return these devices. Once returned, The seller should reach out to the carrier or retail store to return this devices.

UPDATE 4: Replacement devices have now been deemed unsafe by Samsung as reports of faults grow. They have called for all carrier and retail partners globally to stop sales and exchanges of the Galaxy Note 7.

Due to this, we are strongly urging Sellers on Swappa who have sold a Note 7 device to work with buyers on a return. Sellers can then reach out to Samsung, their carrier, and/or retail store to get a refund.

UPDATE 3: Due to the growing number of issues with the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, including replacements, we are no longer allowing the Note 7 to be listed on Swappa. If you have any questions, you can email us at [email protected]

In turn Swappa is temporarily halting sales of Note 7 listings on our marketplace.

We will continue following the story and updates from Samsung to take appropriate actions to accommodate our buyers and sellers.

We advise buyer and seller work together to find a resolution such as a return or working to get a replacement via Samsung if possible.
