Better Than New!! (is that even possible??)- Unused and still wrapped in protective plastic!

Long story short, I've decided to buy another phone and need to sell mine. I loved my Nexus 5 (awesome phone in every way), but am moving on to something bigger and more expensive. Anyway, just before my warranty ran out, I noticed that the front camera no longer worked. I had it replaced under warranty and this is the phone they sent me!

I have not used it (other than to power it on and confirm that it works). It is in perfect condition and is still wrapped in the protective "peel-off" sheeting that new devices come with! If you want an excellent Nexus 5 and want to save a few bucks in the process, then this is your phone.

I can see nothing wrong with this phone. No blemishes, discoloring, scratches, cracks ... nothing. The lettering and logo are intact on the back. It's in 'new' condition. I tend to think that refurbished replacements at this point in the life-cycle of the product are used (but fixed) phones. That may be the case here, but I cannot tell by looking at it. It looks brand new to me. It feels really solid in the hand.

I can keep trying to go on and on, but you're here because you already know about the Nexus 5. Beyond this, I cannot express more completely what good shape this particular specimen is in. It's just like new, but cheaper for you.

I'm marking it as "new" even though it's a warranty replacement. I am doing this because:
1) It's still enclosed in the protective plastic.
2) It's never been used except for the fact that I wirelessly charged it and turned it on to verify it's function.
3) I have, and will include in this sale, the original packaging from my original phone from last year. This packaging has been opened (obviously), but you're getting the 'new' experience as much as is possible.

To be clear, it's not technically new, but it's somewhere between mint & new, and I elected to select "new".

Now for the "better than new" part!! I am also including:

1) A Spigen Crystal screen protector pack (http://www.amazon.com/Protector-Spigen%C2%AE-Japanese-LIFETIME-WARRANTY/dp/B00EV97UD6/ref=sr_1_1). There is at least one protector left in the package, and maybe two. So, right away, you can further project your phone's screen from scratches and other incidental damage!

2) A Caseology case! I only used this for about a month on my old phone. It's in excellent shape. If you like the case, there is no reason at all you wouldn't be comfortable using it. It's clean, looks new, and will serve you well. http://www.amazon.com/Caseology-Non-Slip-Absorbent-T-mobile-Unlocked/dp/B00FEBTU9C/ref=sr_1_8?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1413997167

3) If cases aren't your thing, I've got you covered there, too! I've including some new (never before used) DBrand skins for the phone! I've got a white carbon fiber front, a blue back, a white leather back, and assorted colors/materials for the camera lens. I will also include the side skins that I have, but I'm thinking that the ones I have left were cut for the black phone (and not the white) and may not fit exactly on the white phone. https://dbrand.com/shop/nexus-5

There is one caveat of note. I cannot find the original charger that came in the box (I'm sure it's around here somewhere). I never used it, however, since the wireless charging feature is the only way to go (for me). My loss is your gain, however! Instead, I will include a 9w Amazon charger in the case that charges the device much more quickly. These are more expensive (and better) than what came with the unit originally. http://www.amazon.com/Amazon-PowerFast-Adapter-Accelerated-Charging/dp/B006GWO5WK/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1414000044

So, in conclusion, you get the closest thing to a new phone that you can. You get ~$40 dollars in gear (case + skins + screen protector + fast charger), original box, free shipping (with insurance) ... and you get to save some money in the process! What are you waiting for? Let's git-r-done!

Damage description

This device (that you're buying) has never been damaged or repaired to my knowledge. It is a warranty replacement, and *might* be a refurbished replacement. I cannot tell, however, and it might just be a new phone anyway.

That's really cool, and I would love to help you out, but I don't know what that code is supposed to do. I added two more pictures showing me entering the code and what the phone does immediately after entering it (which is nothing?). All I did was skip past the wizard screen and go directly to the dialer. Do I need a sim card? If so, I'm not ready to peel anything off and insert one.

Maybe it's just this ##786#. I don't think you need a San it should take you to a menu showing whether the phone is refurbished and some other information.

I've tried both codes. I followed the instructions here:

http://www.groovypost.com/howto/howto/check-android-reconditioned-or-oem-status/

I even looked at this:

http://www.groovypost.com/howto/howto/access-hidden-menu-android-phone/

A lot of this stuff is a no-go, because I'm not going to remove the protective packaging, insert a sim, and download apps or whatever else.

If you can give me specific, non-invasive instructions that you know will work, I'll be happy to give them a shot for you. Otherwise, I'll have to decline to go much further than what I've already tried.

Those are the only two codes I know to check to see if it's refurbished. Thanks for trying I'll pass
