Yes, sorry about the delay. Any chance you could post a couple photos of the 'coating off' as you mention above? Also, what's the battery life like? Thanks!
Sure just give me a moment for the pictures. The battery life is great, I've never actually ran it all the way down but it lasts all day off and on while I am at classes.
Nice, thanks. Looks like just edge wear. No other issues? No warranty left on it, I suppose? Sorry about the 20 questions!
No problem at all, I totally understand and if you have any more questions don't hesitate!. By the way, the Wacom bamboo feel stylus will come with some replacement nibs once I find them. Yeah its just edge wear and the warranty is done for this model.
Price changed to $570 if you'd like to buy right now and I found the nibs.
Hi Kareem - still interested, had my hands full last week. How is the stylus tracking on the device? Have you had any problems with calibrating the pen to the screen? I'm planning to use it primarily for art, so this is pretty important to me. No other functional issues? Anything else you can tell me about it? Thanks again for tolerating the questions.
No problem at all! The stylus tracking is great, I used it for classes to take notes but I have heard of many people using it for art as well. The pen uses wacom technology and is spec'd at 1024 levels of pressure sensitivity which I believe should be great for drawing. The wacom pens actually don't need to be calibrated but you can fine tune the tracking if you would like in the settings. I have found the default settings fairly accurate for my needs. As far as functionality it works 100%, wifi, bluetooth, usb etc all work like they should. Anything else?
