Unlocked BUILD edition Lumia 920

This is a BUILD 2012 Lumia that was handed out to attendees, meaning it has FULL T-Mobile/Rogers/AT&T/etc HSPA+ and LTE band support. The BUILD Lumias are one-of-a-kind, and not comparable to unlocked AT&T 920s due to the extra GSM/LTE bands enabled.

It is running the unlocked Rogers variant (RM-820_nam_canada_200) of the latest Windows Phone 8 operating system (Lumia Amber). I flashed this back when the Portico update was slow in coming to the BUILD edition-specific firmware build, and have been using it on T-Mobile ever since with no issues, on HSPA+ and LTE bands. Even though the firmware version is Rogers, this phone is unlocked and worldwide-ready.

As with all BUILD Lumias, this one is matte black with 32GB of flash storage. I have two (2) of the DT-900 wireless charging pads+AC adapters that I will throw in with this., as well as one (1) USB-to-USB Micro cable.

Damage description

There's some dust under the front-facing camera lens, this is a common hardware flaw with the 920s, it doesn't bother me because I never use the front camera. There are a few small 2-3cm scratches on the screen, they are neither deep nor noticeable when the backlight is on. There are no other dents/scratches/nicks/flaws.

It takes a micro-SIM, yes. It doesn't support CDMA bands.

Ayla - This was a factory unlocked developer phone, it never was locked. I would consider $275

Oct 07, 2013 - 04:13 PM

the thing is that it must be an AT&T or T-Mobil unlocked in order for me to use /:

It supports the same bands as AT&T and T-Mobile unlocked phones, and will work just fine on those carriers, it's just that it was never locked in the first place. if you put in an AT&T SIM it will work on AT&T and if you put in a T-Mobile SIM it will work on T-Mobile.

Does this supports T-Mobile lte bands . I bought unlocked Lumia here and that didn't worked as even though it was unlocked it didn't had 1700 or 1900 bands.

PhoneRules - Yes, this particular model *does* support the T-Mobile LTE bands, as it's the "pentaband" developer model, which you can't actually buy from a carrier. If you take a look at the picture I took of the box, you can see the supported bands there, and 1700/1900 LTE bands are there. I've used LTE on T-Mobile myself (where there's coverage for it)

The one you got before was probably an unlocked AT&T model, which as you say doesn't support the 1700/1900 LTE bands.

Dropped price, likely for the last time.
