Dear Scott, is the SIM slot unlocked for international GSM? If not, would you unlock it (via Verizon) first? Furthermore, if not too much trouble, would you point at where the "difficult to notice" scratch on the screen would be. - Miles

Miles, thanks for your interest. I uploaded another photo to better show the scratches. Scratch 1 doesn't show up when viewed straight on, especially with the screen on. The scratches in circle 2 are not on the screen.

Also, I called Verizon and they were not able to unlock since the phone is not active on their network since we upgraded. Not sure if there are workarounds for that or not.

Scott, Would you be willing to provide a pic or screen shot showing MEID or IMEI of the iPhone 4s so I can verify my carrier of choice will activate phone? Thanks. - bill

Scott, Swappa has asked that you do not share the MEID publicly - and it sounds like for good reason. I apologize for asking and withdraw the question. But I am at a loss to figure out how to verify that Tracfone will activate the phone on their network before buying and trying. Apologies. - bill

Hi, William. When I get back from a business trip on Friday I can run the MEID through the ESN Check tool that Swappa provides, but I don't know if it'll give the info you're looking for, or whether it's any assurance if I say it passes or not without giving you the number to check yourself. I'll post what I find out on Friday either way, without posting the number. Cheers.
