This phone is already carrier unlocked for use with any GSM carrier that utilizes the frequencies under the device specifications. It will work with Straight Talk. The device is not rooted but can be easily rooted and i will install a recovery and root the phone for you prior to shipment if requested.

Okay. I'm not sure what all the terms mean exactly. As long as I can put my sim card from my straight talk phone into this Note and it works, I would like to purchase it.
