All hardware buttons work flawlessly.

Mooncalled, please upload a "verification photo" showing your listing code (RLJ382) written on a piece of paper next to the device. Swappa asks all sellers to do this before anyone buys. Thank you.

Does it dual boot Windows Phone 7.5 Mango as well are would it need to be further hacked to do so? Also does the original box come with it? Thank you.

- Aug 12, 2012 - 01:07 PM

Just saw it has the box lol

I'm going to update the listing to reflect the original 16gb sd card that came with the phone.

- Aug 12, 2012 - 01:22 PM

Anyway you could answer my question?

@ Nic W.. The original box will come with the phone along with the original charger and SD card. It is not set for dual boot. I have not tried to install Windows Phone 7 since I switched to android. It seemed too much like a chore, besides I love the versatility of Android.

This phone is still a powerhouse. It does run ICS rather smoothly and it looks like it will run Jelly Bean. I haven't tried that yet.

@Michaela H. No front facing camera.

I am very interested and will pay $110 right now tonight. Let me know asap. I have found one locally in mint condition with some accessories for $120 but like doing business on swappa.com

@Nic W. - You should support your local economy. My price is firm.

8/25/12 - Lowered my asking price to $137.00

- Aug 25, 2012 - 11:59 PM

@moon called I have lowered my offering price the same amount you lowered your asking price since telling me your price was FIRM. My offer is now $97.00 let me know so I can respond accordingly.

@Nic: Why didn't you purchase the local "mint condition" HD2 for $120. It was obviously the better deal. Honestly, If I saw a mint condition item locally for less then what I could purchase it for on the net, I'd jump all over it. I'll admit, $150 was on the high side when I first posted. I had to see what the interest level was. Now, I'm down to $137 which I think is reasonable for an HD2. You want a good deal and I can respect that, but don't get offended when I lower my price after I state I was firm. This is my first item for sale on Swappa and I'm feeling my way through the process.

- Aug 26, 2012 - 07:24 AM

Not that it is your business but the phone on craigslist sold to someone else for $100. See the problem is $130 is not a "great deal" for such a oldphone no matter how you slice it. That's pretty obvious since your phone hasn't sold yet.

Mooncalled Seller
Aug 26, 2012 - 12:29 PM

@Nic - If you wish to purchase the phone then please do. If you want to buy the "mint condition" phone locally then please do. If you want to buy it from some random on Craigslist then please do. The price listed is what I want to sell it for. Please stop trying to negotiate. If you have a Nook Color to trade then we can talk. Otherwise, buy it or move on. Thanks.

- Aug 29, 2012 - 10:06 PM

I see you lowered your price and still had to extend the listing to a later date. I am now offering $90.00 for your phone. Let me know.

Mooncalled Seller
Aug 30, 2012 - 05:42 AM

@ Nic W. $110 since you can't read.

- Aug 30, 2012 - 05:43 AM

Ok

- Sep 01, 2012 - 01:27 PM

I'd like to make a counter offer of $80.00

Congratulations Nic W. You successfully got me to cancel my Swappa account.

- Sep 01, 2012 - 03:06 PM

I did nothing but negotiate price lmao you do what you want but that's how it works on here. Period.

Ben Edwards Staff
Sep 01, 2012 - 03:45 PM

No, Nic, that's not negotiating. And that's not the way things work on here. Period.

Mooncalled, I don't want you to cancel your Swappa account because one of our tens-of-thousands of users decided to pollute your listing. If you'd like to create a fresh listing (without all the comments) I'll upgrade it to be featured for free. I think we can get this sold. I hope you will consider it. Please let me know...

- Sep 01, 2012 - 03:57 PM

Well please explain to me how in the heck I was NOT negotiating????? And you can very clearly click on 95% of the postings on this site and see that people of course try to get a better price. I have been looking to buy a HD2 for a couple weeks and would have gladly paid $110 when I first offered lmao. As time went on and the seller became ruder to me then of course my offers lowered. I didn't see ANYONE else offering to buy his phone so please Ben explain how I was not negotiating a better price for this like 3 year old phone! I'd really love to hear your response and am waiting to hear it. ;-)

Nic, he lowered the price to $110. You then offered $90. He said no, it's $110. You then said $80. That's not negotiating, you just weren't listening. After he insisted the price was $10, you left 3 more comments, including "Ok" and "Lmao", which just pollutes the listing. Not the way it's done here.

And by the way, other buyers will avoid a sale where there's an aggressive, unrelenting commenter.

You are welcome to make offers and counter-offers, but I don't want to see this kind of "negotiating" that encourages others to leave the site. There's your response.

- Sep 01, 2012 - 04:44 PM

Lol let me make sure I got this correct. I can't "aggressively" negotiate a better price for myself like many on this site do but the seller can hurl insults and be rude and THATS OK??? I didn't read any of this on any site rules or anything. Now that I am aware of how things actually work here I'll make sure that I inform all the developers of Android I rub shoulders with daily across XDA, Twitter, GPlus, OMGDroid.com where I write to the Android masses

- Sep 01, 2012 - 04:45 PM

and of course my own personal site that is rolling out this weekend and is backed by Cruzerlite and Rootzwiki and the Rootzwiki radio show which I'll be on this weekend and will shout out swappa lol and Team Venom and the guys behind AOKP mainly Whitehawx who intruduced me to this site. Thanks for informing me on how things really work behind the scenes and maybe next time Google someone and make sure they aren't a heavy hitter in your target market before your rude to them lol. Off to write up a review on swappa lol. Once posted I'll come back here and drop a link for you guys ;-)

Nic, I'm good friends with Joel and Scotty, the owner and marketing director of CruzerLite, respectively. And I think Scotty still does RootzWiki radio, doesn't he? Swappa was a sponsor not too long ago. I'm not name dropping or anything, I'm just saying that these guys know how I do business on this site and know I give everyone a fair shake.

Also, we have a lot of XDA members, and even some OMGDroid contributors, do business on this site. Which means they've interacted with me and know how things work.

And I wasn't rude to you. You were rude to a seller, enough for him to cancel his listing and move on.

And there's no "how things really work behind the scenes." All of this and how we do business on Swappa is public.

Anyway, drop your names and drop your links. I stand behind Swappa, and know tens of thousands of other users do too.

- Sep 01, 2012 - 05:29 PM

Not name dropping at all lmao just stating facts. I wasn't rude at all not AT ALL. Just stating how I'm going to handle the situation by letting everyone know how I was treaties in this one situation. I've read my comments and the sellers comments over a couple times and I was never rude but he was and now I'm dealing with this BS from you for no reason. I didn't make him do anything at all and the fact that you keep saying that is BS as well.

Sep 04, 2012 - 05:52 AM

God damn it. I wanted this phone. I'm just waiting for my Paypal account to get verified (they have to send me a letter). The price is fine. If the seller can still see this, please consider listing it again.
