Okay. What is wrong with my "verification photo"? My ID is clearly on the photo, as in the fourth example on your verifications photo page.

Confirming this is a Sprint Phone....and if it is, will you consider $350.00?

Cell Sense Seller
- Mar 04, 2014 - 10:03 AM

Yes, it's Sprint. Sorry, I can not accept your offer. Phone is absolutely new, never used, never activated. I had Ting.com check the esn, and it's good.

Mar 04, 2014 - 09:37 PM

OK. Let me know if you will consider a price in the middle. Thank you for your response.

And thank you, Martha. Please give men an idea of what the "middle" is. Regards.

Hi Cell Sense will you accept $400?

Cell Sense Seller
- Mar 05, 2014 - 08:34 PM

Hello, Erica. Thank you for your offer. Can we meet half way at $410? I will pay for expedited 2-3 business day shipping. And I would also appreciate your positive feedback.

Mar 10, 2014 - 06:00 PM

Hi Cell Sense,
I can pay you$380.00 now if you will accept this offer. Half way between $350.00 and $410.00
Thank you for your consideration.
Martha

Thank you for your offer, Martha. The best that I can do right now is $400 with standard shipping and confirmation number, or $410 with expedited shipping of 2-3 business days. This is a brand new, never used, never activated phone with all original sealed packaging, and the factory plastic is still on the screen and back battery door. I had the ESN checked with Sprint's database, and it's good to go. Let me know.

This phone has to be directly from Sprint and not "reseller". I'm going to use this on the Flash Wireless (sprint) plan and that plan will ONLY accept a cell phone from "Sprint". I just purchased a brand new Galaxy S4, upgraded, only to find out it came from "reseller" and not "Sprint" and I can not use this device on my Flash Wireless (sprint) plan. I know you should not provide me the MEID or ICCID numbers. If I give you the website...can you input the MEID and ICCID to see if the device is supported and will be accepted?

Cell Sense Seller
- Mar 12, 2014 - 05:02 PM

Hello, Martha. Yes, provide the exact area on the site and I will input the MEID or ICCID numbers. That said, are you sure they will accept the S4 right now? A Sprint phone is a Sprint phone, with factory default settings. Even if purchased from a re-seller it's still a Sprint phone -- unless the reseller modified it, previously activated it, or flashed it. This phone is factory default, never activated. I use Ting.com for wireless service, where you can save a lot of money. They use Sprint towers, and they will not accept the S4 until the end of April. Even though Swappa does check the MEID, I had Ting check it against Sprint's database and they said it was good to activate. Who did you buy your other S4 from?

Mar 12, 2014 - 06:23 PM

https://www.flashwireless.com/Phones/FlashWirelesssDeviceApprovalWizard/tabid/1704/Default.aspx?teamid=02606584
Copy and paste this into URL
Click on, "Click here to get started" box....please enter MEID and ICCID of your Galaxy S4 you are selling....it must come back as a approved and supported device, if it does, I will purchase immediately for $400.00
I agree with you and the other seller on Sprint Cell phones, but Flash Wireless will only accept Sprint ONLY phones and not from a Reseller even if it works with the Sprint network...Thank you

Mar 12, 2014 - 06:33 PM

Confirm the device is from Sprint by checking the box
Select "Samsung Galaxy S4" under Select your device
and then enter the MEID and ICCID........thank you

Martha, I talked with Flash Wireless customer service. Because the S4 is a new device, less than 12 months on the market, their network does not support it at this time, This is understandable, as this is how Sprint protects their market share: by not letting other affiliates, or even their own third party companies sell wireless service plans after a new device release. This is also why I mentioned previously that ting.com, who I use, and who has great customer service, will accept the phone at the end of April. The phone is new, never activated, and perfect. It was purchased new from a major retailer on 1/04/14. If you would still like to purchase the phone, I can ship expedited 2-3 business day delivery and you'll have a great new phone. You can wait just one month and ting.com will activate the phone, or you could then check with your carrier. So I hope this helps and that you appreciate my honest and quick reply. Thanks again for your interest.

On this page: [ https://ting.zendesk.com/entries/22567167-BYOD-Whitelist- ] Leave the brackets out but include the trailing hyphen. Under the heading: "List of Common Devices". You will see this: "Samsung Galaxy S4 - April 30, 2014"

Mar 12, 2014 - 10:53 PM

Were you able to run the numbers or when talking with customer service did they run the numbers for you? In the select device section..it allows you to select Galaxy S4 in the drop down menu...when I spoke to customer service, Flash Wireless does support Galaxy S4, Only from Sprint, not 'reseller"...sorry for all the trouble......

Cell Sense Seller
- Mar 12, 2014 - 11:18 PM

Yes, I ran the numbers. That's why I called them. I am not impressed with having to go through many prompts and nags and then waiting before speaking to someone. With ting, a live person answers the phone immediately -- no waiting, no prompts, no nags. Ask Flash Wireless what they mean by "reseller". A reseller of what? Samsung makes the phone under contract with Sprint to work on their network, so the phone is programmed to their specific frequency bands. Call Sprint and tell them you want to buy an S4 and not their service plan and see what they say :) They have it here for $49: http://shop.sprint.commysprintshopphone_wall.jsp?filterString=smartphone&INTNAV=ATG:HE:Smartphones. But you have to buy plan, get locked into an extended contract, pay way too much money, and get charged a cancellation fee if you back out.

Mar 13, 2014 - 01:28 PM

ok...will the phone you currently have work on the Flash Wireless (s) plan?

Cell Sense Seller
- Mar 13, 2014 - 02:51 PM

It's a factory stock Sprint phone. Never used. Never activated. Purchase new on 01.04/14 from a major retail outlet. I have the original packing slip. When your preferred carrier accepts the S4 it will work on their network. I would contact them and ask them when they plan to accept it. As I stated before, ting.com, who uses Sprint towers, will accept the S4 at the end of April. They ran the MEID against Sprint's database, and it's ready to activate. So if you want to use your carrier, check with them. Just make sure that you they support 4G LTE.

I am re-listing the device, This thread is far too long.

- Apr 24, 2014 - 09:56 PM

Would you like to trade your new S4 for my new Note 2? Please let me know. Thanks. http://swappa.com/listing/MRM387/view

Cell Sense Seller
- Apr 24, 2014 - 10:56 PM

Thank you, Rob, but no thank you. "New" phone should have all original material -- box, sealed accessories. That's the only way I could even consider a trade. That being said, I don't know if Swappa approves of this kind of transaction. In addition. the market value of the S4 is about $100 higher.
