Great condition Safestrapped Droid RAZR MAXX with original box, case & screen protector [No trades]

Up for sale here is a Droid RAZR MAXX with safestrap installed and running CyanogenMod 11. I picked this up about a month or so ago from a major auction site and worked great after I rooted it and installed SS.

Damage description

None that I am aware of. The listing on the other site that I purchased from said it has been in a case since day 1.

In the process of running RSD Lite back to stock to start with a clean slate then re-root and install Safestrap and CM11/M10. Once that completes, I'll get some pics uploaded.

I am very interested and I do live in Northern california. i see from the pictures that it is in great condition. Is this a phone you would be happy to own? I just happened to shatter my iphone4s; is this a big upgrade?

i do want to purchase this phone

Thats not good news at all about the 4s :( I picked it up used about a month or so from ebay and it's been great. But after damaging another phone with a sim card adapter, I don't want to keep any micro sim phones around anymore. The razr is a couple years old and works great on a custom rom like cyanogenmod battery life and signal were both good. As for being a big upgrade from the 4s, I don't think it will be much if any except for 4g.

it was a very tragic incident. but i do appreciate your honesty. now if it wasnt rooted you dont think it would be something you would buy? i mean for 85 i cant really go wrong, when they wanna charge me 64=5 to replace my screen... i am waiting on paypal to "verify" my address.. so thats kindof a set back unfortunately.

645 to replace the screen? That's a lot :( it's ok on stock but seems a little bit slow at times depending on what apps you will be using...I'll restore it back to "new" condition then if you decide you want to try root access at a later date, there are a couple methods that work equally well on xda-developers. Hopefully restoring to stock takes care of the one issue I've had with it on a custom Rom like cyanogenmod and that one issue is not being able to connect to my WiFi router and I keep forgetting to mention that. If it doesn't work on stock then it may be a physical problem with the phone that I wasn't aware of. Here on swappa, after a sale we are taken to a private page where we can work out details like the shipping address and tracking the progress of the shipment so at least for me the verified address isn't really a requirement. It's selected by default when creating the listing and I haven't ever changed it.

Phone is now stock and it connects to my Moto X's hotspot so it is either a finicky router, phone or possibly an issue with the roms I was running (?) but I snapped a pic with my broken note 2 to show that it is working.

...and it came out sideways lol...but after a little research it seems like the wifi on the razr/razr maxx is an issue with some routers and it still doesn't like my droid 4 (permanent hotspot) or router.

Soooo... this phone takes a SIM card right? I already screwed up & bought one wrong thing off Swappa so just making sure! ;)
Thanks!

Hello. This does take a Verizon LTE SIM card for service but to my knowledge and I may be wrong on this, I don't think it will work with GSM service. I don't have any way to verify this though and I apologize for not getting a chance to peek in and reply before it was sold to answer your question.
