It is compatible but apparently only with Voice, Text and Data at 2G speeds. Via the Ting Page:
"Assuming your device is unlocked, it can come to Ting today. It will support the following services once it's here. 2G
Your device must be unlocked in order to activate on Ting. If you're sure it's unlocked then you're good to go! Otherwise, you'll need to speak to your previous carrier in order to get the device unlock code."
(note this is John again, yes the phone is unlocked already).

That is incorrect. It does get 4G/LTE on AT&T and T-Mobile.

Hi Charly, It is unlocked and will connect to GSM networks with which it has the correct bands for in your area. You'll need to google search to see which bands your carrier uses. This model's cellular antenna uses LTE 2 / 4 / 5 / 17

John your title shows the model D802 which is the International unlock version but one of your photos show the label on the back of the unit states D800 which is the AT&T variant.
