Is this a new or newly refurbished phone?
Did I understand the listing description as this actually came from Sprint?

I'm reading horror stories online of people who buy what they are told is a refurbished phone at Apple retail stores and finding out later if there is a problem and they take them back to the store, they're told the phone has been tampered with although they've done nothing of the sort and denied repairs.

I'm not questioning your integrity, it's just I've never owned an iPhone and so reading about the issues with the 5 and it's battery/button recalls it makes me a bit nervous about the origin and manufacture date. Is it possible to check the Serial # on the recall site to see if this is one that the battery should be replaced?

BinNC - This phone is refurbished and came straight from the Sprint manufacturer It works perfectly. I tested everything out when it arrived. It has never been activated or used. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks Whitney for the quick reply. Since it's been refurbished, do you have a way of knowing it it was to complete the recall repairs and it has the newer battery? Did you check the Serial # on that link?

BinNC - I can not get that site to read the serial number. I have entered it and it says not valid. I enter the same number on imei.info, apple.com, and iphoneimei.info and it pulls up on every one of those. Not sure if maybe the site it down or what is going on.
