Pristine Galaxy Nexus with JB 4.2, Extended Battery, Three Cases, Screen Protector, and More!

I bought this sweet, sweet phone about a month before it became available for much less on the Google Play Store, but I haven't regretted it once. It is an awesome device.

I've used it with a screen protector and case from day one (I ordered them and they arrived before the phone), so it's in really great condition. A few months into use, I was playing lots of games and watching lots of videos (which look wonderful on the huge screen, by the way), and having a blast. However, I quickly realized that 3-4 hours of screen-on time was not quite cutting it for a full day's worth of usage, so I bought a QCell Extended Battery and a compatible rubberized case, which fits it like a glove. The weight and battery life nearly doubled, making this GNex a truly formidable device--in both form and function.

Of course, I wanted to play around with NFC, so I've been using the stock battery, and I'm actually finding that it lasts surprisingly long with Dark ParanoidAndroid 2.52. I am able to play games, surf the web, and use it without worry of running out of juice before the end of the day, and that's enough for me. Most importantly, I don't have to worry about plugging it in around lunchtime, and that makes a big difference. I wish I would've known about this ROM earlier.

Anyway, some extra details:

1. It's in an unlocked and rooted state, with a touch-and-hard-button version of ClockworkMod Recovery.

2. It is fully capable of overclocking up to 1.8 GHz, though I prefer to run it at 1.2 or 1.3 for battery reasons.

3. For the vast majority of my usage, I've modded the navigation bar out and have used LMT Launcher, which adds a global pie menu like the stock browser offers, which means that there should be absolutely no concern of burn-in at the bottom of the screen.

4. I've been very conservative with my brightness values, setting the autobrightness levels to much lower than stock, so the screen should have a lot more spunk than the average GNex of the same age, and finally.

5. I've taken really good care not to abuse this device, and I believe it shows. There's only one scratch on the audio port, and it's very inconspicuous. There are no scratches on the screen, as it's spent its entire life under a sheet of plastic, and I have only removed the case while in the comfort (and safety from environmental hazards) of my own home.

I think I've said all there is to say about this great little device, but if you have any questions, please ask and I'll get back to you right away.

Because I am including almost $30 of extras, because of how hard I've worked to preserve the condition of this device, and because of Swappa's pricing and shipping system, I'm confident that the price I am asking is reasonable and even competitive. However, I am interested in receiving offers, so please feel free to let me know what you think it might be worth. :)

Damage description

As I mentioned, the audio jack has a small scratch next to it, but it is very inconspicuous. Upon closer inspection, I have noticed that there are a couple of very tiny marks on the matte finish on the back, but they are similarly difficult to notice.

Any trades

Hi d3adbroke! At the moment, the only phone I would be interested in trading for would be the Galaxy Note 2. Also, I'm not sure how well trades are handled on Swappa, so I would probably have to stick to local trades only. Of course, given the relative values, I would probably have to include some cash with such a deal.

I'm interested in know what you had in mind.

Thanks for your inquiry!

I looked around, and while that seems like more of an even trade, I'm specifically interested in the Note 2.

I appreciate the offer, however. If I change my mind, I'll certainly let you know. Thank you.

Hi Joshua, will you take 310? I understand it's less than what you expect but that's the most I can do, and I need to buy one immediately... Please let me know ASAP

Hi Harshhouston, and thanks for the offer! Unfortunately, this is my only phone, and I need to be able to purchase a new one as soon as it sells. I may be able to lower the price in the future, but I can not do so at the moment.

Joshua, can you please confirm this listing is still supposed to be active?

Antonis, the cheapest it could possibly be is $24--that depends upon whether or not I can get it to fit the post office's standard box/envelope. If not, somewhere around $50.

Ben, I did intentionally re-activate the listing. Thanks for asking.

Hi Ambar, I can definitely send it to San Francisco.

I do want to add, before you buy, the current screen protector is a little worse for the wear. It has a couple of rough spots. No scratches or anything like that, though, so a simple replacement will make it as good as new.

Hope that's not a problem.

Just one last question, i know you mentioned the sate as No Sign's of use, but are there any visible imperfections on the body of the phone ?

As I mentioned in the damage description, there is a small scratch near the headphone port, about a millimeter wide. There are also some small marks on the very bottom on the back, but they are not very apparent.

I would be happy to upload a couple of pictures for you.

- May 21, 2013 - 03:22 AM

That would be great, im actually buying this for my sister, thought she isnt very particular about scratches, just dont want anything very apparent.

Done!

Though they're not normally very apparent, they are pretty easy to find under the light.

The face is, of course, flawless, as it's been under that screen protector for the whole time I've had the phone. There aren't any scratches along the edge or side of the phone, either. Just what you can see in the picture.
