Hey Marc! The lollipop update was was actually manually flashed to the device, it's available on https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images, and just hasn't come across OTA yet. This is about as new as it gets, I pulled the plastic off the phone, flashed it to Lollipop, then replaced the plastic.
