I don't understand the comment in the green box below. I am trying to sell this item so why would I want to communicate with myself?

Yes it will work in Verizon wireless plan. The blemishes are minor. The battery life is very good, but that depends on how you use the phone. I just used it for phone calls and checking and responding to emails and text messages. It is the original battery.
