Yes this phone will work globally if you unlock it. I don't know how to unlock it as we don't do any of that. If you purchase it tonight and pay the $7 expedited then it should be there by Friday.

No I cannot go any lower. Even if you paid $370 for the phone and $30 for the unlock, you would still be paying less than a normal unlocked one.

Has this phone been rooted? Is there any water damage? Do you know if anything has been done that would compromise the water proofing of the phone?

No this phone has not been rooted. There is no water damage on the phone and it is fully functional. There is no damage or modifications of any type that would impair the water resistance of the phone. The rubber around the battery cover is intact and the charging port cover is still there and has the rubber on it.
