MINT!! Sprint Samsung Galaxy S III 16GB + accessories CLEAN ESN!

Welcome!

You are bidding on a MINT condition (unlocked/rooted) Sprint Samsung Galaxy S III 16 GB (SPH-L710). It ships in the factory packaging and includes all original accessories, plus some extra goodies. I am including in this auction a SanDisk 32GB microSD card and my A-case Superleggera case.

I recently switched carriers, which means that I no longer require the device. I take very good care of all electronic products that I own, so need not worry. This is likely the safest electronic purchase you will make (for a great price too!).

Purchase with confidence. Device has clean ESN.

No, thank you!

I would like to purchase this from you at the rate that you are asking. However I would like to pay next Friday morning if possible via paypal. Please advise

Next Friday as in August 2nd? Naturally, I have no issues with that, but I just want to inform you that the listing will remain open until the purchase is made by you or another party.

Assuming no one has purchased it on that date - the product is all yours.

Jul 23, 2013 - 01:23 PM

Yes August 2nd! And that is fine... I'll keep my fingers crossed!

Thanks!

Josh, I am EXTREMELY interested in purchasing this phone TODAY. I already have a Paypal account and I can pay $275.00.

Josh C. Seller

$285 and you've got a deal. I'm already selling myself short since I had a buyer for listing price. However, I'd prefer to get it off of my hands.

Jul 29, 2013 - 08:24 AM

Josh, if the phone has a clean ESN, in mint condition, and have all the accessories described above. Its a DEAL!!

Josh C. Seller
- Jul 29, 2013 - 08:25 AM

Yes, it is clean. Thank you for buying :)

Josh C. Seller

And in mint condition.. I wouldn't bother attempting to sell it if there was anything wrong with it, to be honest.

Jul 29, 2013 - 08:42 AM

Thanks!! Quick Question, I am not as tech savvy as most and I notice when I was about to purchase it stated the phone was ROOTED and/or ROM'd.............How does this affect the phone in anyway? Thanks!

Josh C. Seller
- Jul 29, 2013 - 08:47 AM

Basically, that means you have admin access to the /system and /data partitions of the device. This allows you to install applications that give some added benefits to random things. As for the ROM, it is essentially a customized version of the Android OS based on features either from an OEM user interface or stock Android. For example, I placed a stock, but modified version of 4.1.2's MD4 update, which should run faster and provide slightly better battery life. Custom ROMs give the ability to acquire enhancements to the performance of the device, basically.

Some more information can be found here: http://www.androidcentral.com/root

Josh, thanks for the helpful information!! Since I am not a super user, could you unroot the phone before shipping?

Josh C. Seller
- Jul 29, 2013 - 09:09 AM

I could, but I honestly don't know if I have the time to go through that process. My intention was always to sell as is. You aren't losing anything from having it "rooted" if that is what you ultimately fear. If anything, you gain everything.

Jul 29, 2013 - 09:43 AM

Okay, I guess you have to change the price so that I can purchase the phone.............................

Josh C. Seller
- Jul 29, 2013 - 09:46 AM

I think I may have to pass on that. As I stated previously, there was another user who is willing to pay full listing price for the product, so I would be silly to continually cut myself short. I'm sorry that we couldn't broker a better deal. However, I do wish you luck in your search for a new device.

Aug 01, 2013 - 06:49 PM

In the case that your previous buyer is no longer interested, I can take it off of your hands today for $280. I just finalized the activation of my paypal account and am ready to make a purchase.

Just waiting to hear back from user: Melissariggs first. Once that happens, I'll let you know. I'll give her until about 6 PM EST today. Also, bump it to $285 and you'll have a deal.

Aug 02, 2013 - 01:16 PM

$ 300 is a little to steep for me right now. But thank you!

Josh C. Seller
- Aug 02, 2013 - 01:20 PM

$285 is the current listing price. Silly listing won't let me edit/save it.

Josh C. Seller
- Aug 02, 2013 - 01:21 PM

$285 to any and all. First come, first serve. :)

Esmeralda: Are you still interested?

Josh C. Seller

FYI: Device is still available. Price has been updated in the listing. Clean ESN, of course.

8/6/13.. device is still available

Aug 08, 2013 - 10:30 AM

In the description you wrote that its unlocked/rooted, does this mean I can use it with a different provider other than sprint? Or just that you can install custom roms?

Josh C. Seller
- Aug 08, 2013 - 10:34 AM

No, it can't be used on any other provider other than Sprint. That's just what I alluded to as being able to flash custom ROMs, radios, firmware, etc..

No US carrier uses the same radio frequencies as Sprint (besides their own MVNO's).

Josh C. Seller
- Aug 08, 2013 - 01:07 PM

For anyone interested, I can now restore the phone back to stock (unrooted) prior to shipping if you desire. I'll have some free time on my hands this weekend to get it done.

Come get your best priced *mint* Sprint SGS3 on Swappa! :)

Aug 08, 2013 - 07:18 PM

does this come with a sim card?

Josh C. Seller
- Aug 08, 2013 - 07:22 PM

CDMA carriers do not use SIM cards unless it is a global phone, which this is not. You're likely looking for a GSM device (AT&T or T-Mobile).
